The Maumee Council for the Arts is excited about its latest venture, community theatre! A steering committee has been formed and is currently developing committees and production ideas for a Maumee Community Theatre group. The troupe plans to host its first production in the fall of 2004. Now is the time to sign up and get involved!

To kick things off, the members of the steering committee have proposed a contest to name the theatre group. The author of the winning name wins a pair of season passes to the group’s first season of performances. Deadline for entry is May 1, 2004. So hurry and get your entry in now! You must be 18 to enter; one name suggestion per entry. Click here to enter.

We are interested in every kind of theatre background—from those who can perform onstage to those who build sets or can manage productions. Come one! Come all!
